Trains & Graffiti

On April 9th, we took Aiden over to the train yard to check out the trains and the graffiti on them. Aiden always watches the trains from I-80 as we travel back and forth. He recently has become interested in the graffiti that is painted on them and asked me if we could see some up close some time.

Sleepy Head

On April 8th, Aiden didn't take a nap at day care. Christy let the big kids watch "Tangled" instead. Aiden is so used to taking naps that he doesn't fare very well in the evening hours without one. He passed out on the couch at about 5:30. Rob and I could not get him to wake up. I had to hold him in my lap to keep him upright while he tried to eat. We were laughing pretty hard. After a couple of bites he was out again. We finally just put him to bed. He slept from from 5:30 till 6:45 the following morning. I guess he needed some sleep.

Tava's Close Up

On April 4th, Tava was posing for a close up. She is such a pretty girl!

Super Quick Trip

On March 26th, we drove to Fort Collins so Rob could get tattooed one last time before we head to nationals. Rob got worked on Saturday evening and Sunday morning, and then we drove home. We took Aiden with us this time which is tough when we don't get to spend a whole lot of time. We stopped at Kenny and Amanda's for a few minutes and then spent the night at Tim and Heide's house. Aiden had lots of fun playing but ended up sick in the morning. The poor little guy threw up all morning and then we threw him in the car for five hours. Strider sent him home with lots of new costumes, the Hulk one being Aiden's favorite. The night we got home he couldn't bare to take it off.

Little Monster

On March 17th, Aiden was the scariest Mike Wazowski you have ever seen. This costume was a hand me down from his buddy Strider and he loves it. For some reason he won't put this one over his clothes, it's an undies only costume. Rock on A.

Spiderman Park

On March 15, it was nice enough to play at the park for a bit. Aiden has finally mastered spiderman park on his own, which is so nice for us because that's a lot of work for a grown up over and over again. Anywhere Aiden is, Tava wants to be. Spiderman park was no challenge for her, she is used to following Rob up ladders on his job sites.

Boys Day Only!

On March 12th, the Archibald girls were heading out for a "girls day only". Grandma Julie took them to Disney on Ice. So naturally, Dylan and Theran headed to our house so that we could have a "boys day only". I told the kids they could call me Uncle Kim. Theran got a huge kick out of that and did not miss a beat with it all day. They had lots of fun playing the Wii, being a rock band, going swimming, catching a movie at the theatre, and a classy dinner at McDonald's play land. It was the best "boys only day" ever!

The End

On March 8th, Aiden had some major concerns over a prayer he had said at dinner time. He said a very nice prayer and at the end of it he said, "the end." And we said Amen, which made him realize what he had said. He asked me if God was going to be upset with him for saying the "the end " instead of "amen". I told him that I bet God just knew that he was finished and that I was sure that he wasn't upset. He was very serious and quite concerned. Too funny.

Gracie's Baptism

On March 5th we headed to Utah for Gracie's baptism. We are quite the crew when we are all together. It's fun to see all 12 grandkids together. Grandpa Darrell got some great pictures for us. The Park crew brought their new puppy and she was a hot item, and sooooo cute.

I Can't See Without My Glasses

Aiden is a huge fan of Scooby Doo at the moment. On February 20th, he was mimicking Velma. He just couldn't see anything without his glasses. The few times he misplaced them that day were pretty rough.

Some More Snow

Miss Tava was way more excited than we were about the snow that we got on February 19th. She will do just about anything to get Rob to throw her a snowball, or a dozen. She is a crazy dog!
