Happy Birthday Mommy

Turning 31 really didn't phase me at all. It's funny how once you have kids and you're super busy all the time, it just becomes another day and another number. We do have birthday rituals at our house, and Aiden is adamant that we follow them. He is also ever so willing to help you blow out candles and open presents, just in case you can't go at it alone.

The Easter Bunny Deliver's

On Easter morning Aiden was so surprised that the Easter Bunny, or one of his helpers, left footprints on our couch while retrieving our baskets. He was also quite delighted that the Easter Bunny brought him something that my OCD would never allow me to buy him, moon dough. Darn that bunny, but he is stoked. After Aiden found all of our Easter baskets we headed over to Kemmerer to make Grandma Yorgi some breakfast, stopped at the Burris house, and had an incredible dinner at Grandma Janie and Grandpa Darrell's house. Grandma Yorgi joined us for Easter dinner too. My mom had enough food to feed a small army.

Easter Egg Hunt

On Saturday, April 23rd, we went over to Aunt Rhiannon's house so the kids could have their annual Easter egg hunt. It was a bit chilly but they were completely unfazed. Rhiannon made us a yummy dinner and Aiden went to bed greatly anticipating the nightly drop from the Easter Bunny.

2011 National Tattoo Convention

Rob and I headed to the National Tattoo Convention in April. It was the first time I had been able to go for several years. It's always fun to see everyone. They have all become family to us and it's nice to be somewhere that no judgement is passed. We drove to Nevada, which wasn't horrible. It was nice to spend some time together. Aiden stayed at Grandma Janie's house. It was a great convention. Tim and Rob won the overall male category and Heidi cleaned house with the amazing back piece that she had done. And we caught a great show with our buddy Rob Knight.
