Trip to New Mexico

On June 17th we loaded up after Rob got home from work and headed to New Mexico. We drove all night long and pulled in around 5 a.m.. Great Grandma "D" needed some things taken care of on the property and we needed to haul back a load of Granny Suzy's things. It was quite the trip. We worked our tails off and drove home on Monday excited that Granny Suzy would head our way the 1st of July.

Trip To Colorado

On June 11th we took a quick trip to Colorado. We always love to go see our friends. Aiden had tons of fun with the Underwood crew, got to spend a day with Strider, and had some bath time fun with Colin. And we all got to meet Mickey and Lauren's newest edition, William. Pictures just didn't do him justice. We miss Fort Collins so very much. Maybe someday we will be able to go back there to live.

Aiden's 4th Birthday!

We can't believe that our little man is already 4 years old. He had so much birthday fun this year! On June 3rd, his actual birthday, he got a family party with Rob and I. Then presents came in the mail from Grandma Leslie and Grandpa Randy and Uncle Riley and Aunt Jess. The following Saturday he got to have a joint birthday party with his cousins Emmie and Theran. Emmie's birthday is the day before Aiden's and Theran's birthday is a couple weeks after. We all went to the bowling alley and the kids had too much fun. Then it was back to Aunt Rhiannon's for cake, ice cream, and presents with Grandma Janie and Grandpa Darrell and Uncle Travis's family.

Marilyn's Retirement Lunch

I was very fortunate to have an incredible mentor entering the school district, Marilyn Tangen. She kept me sane and was a great support system. She has served the district for over 35 years and decided to retire at the end of the school year. All of us will be lost without her but she keeps reassuring us that she is only a phone call away. I told her not to say that unless she meant it because I know that I will always have her on speed dial. She helped make my first year as a Speech Language Pathologist a great one!
