Potion Mishap

On October 25th we finally caved in to Aiden's constant and frequent requests to make a potion. All the Halloween stories were getting the best of him. He wanted to use the whole fridge of course so I selected some ingredients for him: ketchup, mustard, yogurt, salt, pepper, juice, and baking soda. He very carefully added and mixed everything up in a glass salad dressing shaker. After he was done he wanted to give it a good shake so we let him, not thinking off all of the vinegar in the ketchup and mustard that would mix with the baking soda. Everyone knows what vinegar and baking soda do together. He shook it as hard as he could and the top blew off it like a rocket. It was hilarious. Rob got the whole thing on video and I must say it's "America's Funniest Home Video's" worthy. He continues to ask if we can make another potion and the answer continues to be "NO"!
