Where Is The Hani-Tizer

I am a self admitted germaphobe and am very content with it. As a mom I know that my very busy son is more likely to use hand sanitizer than to effectively take the time to wash his grubby little hands, so I provide it. The other day he was screaming at me, "Hey mom, where is the hani-tizer at?" I knew what he said and I asked him to repeat himself. Again, it was hani-tizer. I laughed and said it's hand sanitizer. And not to my surprise got the infamous "I know, that's what I said."

Visit to Kemmerer

On February 19th we headed over to Kemmerer to pick up our little man. Grandma Janie had taken him to Kemmerer the night before. We were on standby to possibly make a quick trip to Colorado if Kutter advanced in the State wrestling tournament. Aiden was so excited because he got to go to Joey and Mike's house to play with Nolie Olie. He is such a good little guy to Aiden. We stopped by Riley and Jess's new place to play with Chayzlee for a bit. Her big brother was out of town and Uncle Riley was working, but Grandma Leslie met us there. We got word of a "surprise" birthday bash for Jason that evening so we hung out for a bit. We headed home that night and it took us about two hours to get to Green River. Pretty ugly little blizzard. Ahhh Wyoming.

Happy Birthday Dylan

Mister Dylan Archibald turned 3 years old this year. He is "a bid boy now", just ask him. He has grown up so much since we've been here. We really enjoy being close enough to see our families and to watch our niece's and nephews grow. Hanging out with his cousins means everything to Aiden, since his alternative is just Rob and I. We have already become so not cool.

Cameron's Annual Fishing Trip

On February 12th, Cameron came to crash at our pad for the weekend so he could fish like a crazy man. Now that this is becoming an annual event Aiden knows that he gets to check out all the fish that Cameron takes home. He was pretty excited this year!

Valentine's Day

We had a fun Valentine's Day at our house. Grandma Janie sent a tall tower of treats for everyone, and Grandma Leslie sent Aiden a Valentine's gift bag full of goodies. My fabulous husband sent me chocolate covered strawberries from Shari's Berries. They are ridiculously good. Rob and I got Aiden a musical dancing monkey that we knew he would love; and that we knew would drive us really crazy. Oh the sacrifices you make as a parent.

Preschool Valentine's Party

On February 9th Aiden and I prepped some valentines for all of his preschool friends. His party was on Thursday the 10th. The class put on a couple of plays. Aiden was in the "Three Little Pigs" play. To begin with he was Pig #1. After the curtain closed however, with all of the parents listening and waiting, one of Aiden's classmates became hysterical and was refusing to play the Big Bad Wolf. Aiden very loudly told Miss MerLee that Jonas could be Pig #1 and Aiden would be the wolf. I was so proud that he was being thoughtful, and then came.... "I always have to tell him what to say anyways so I know all of his lines." I must say he was a pretty good Big Bad Wolf and he took his new part very seriously. He is so dramatic, which in turn makes him so good at drama.

Kutter's Wrestling Tournament

On January 29th we made another quick trip to Colorado to watch Kutter wrestle in his Regionals tournament. He took the title for the 160 pound weight class. We were excited to be there to support him. And I got to squeeze on our friend Sonia's new little baby, which is always a bonus for me. We travel to Colorado on a pretty frequent basis but we never get to see everyone we would like to, and the trip never gets any shorter.
