Car Wash Hero

After Aiden's preschool party I headed to the car wash before returning to work. The color brown on my white car is not appealing. There are vacuums where you wait in line so I went ahead and did that too. An older gentlemen pulled up next to me in a little yellow bug and began doing the same. As we both entered our cars another man pulled in as if he were going to cut in front of us both. The older gentlemen got out of his car and came to my window. He told me that I was there prior to him and to make sure to get in front of him. Then he angrily pointed to the impatient jerk and said "I don't know what this guy thinks he's doing though." I jokingly said, "Well it's looking like he's just going to push his way in. A lot of people are just that way." And to that my new friend replied, "Not today!" I was then instructed to pull up quickly when the line moved and to not let him in. As soon as the line moved the impatient guy of course tried to cut me off and before I knew what happened my hero in the little yellow bug pulled in front of the other guy's truck and got out of the car. Many words were exchanged but my new friend was not going to back down. He tipped his hat to me and moved his car so that I could go in front of them both. I laughed really hard and just had to take a picture of him through my side mirror. There are a lot of people that could care less about common courtesies, not this guy though. Thanks yellow bug guy!
