Preschool Christmas Party

On December 15 Aiden had his preschool Christmas Party. He made a lovely green graham cracker house. He drew Brailey's name for the gift exchange and was very excited to give her a present. He got a pink monster truck from his friend Taylor. On the way to the library Aiden told me that he didn't like the song "Up on the Rooftop" and that he wasn't going to sing it. I encouraged him to do whatever Mrs. MerLee asked him to. Sure enough the song came. He started out strong but as soon as he realized that they were a line into "Up on the Rooftop" he quickly stopped the actions and singing. He stood still and quiet looking less than impressed until it was over. I have to laugh sometimes about how stubborn he is. When he makes up his mind he will not be swayed. It gets him in trouble now, but I know one day it will serve him well.
